Mussenden Temple

Celebrate one of the North Coasts most breath taking land marks with this elegant Mussenden Temple tea towel from my  North Coast & Countryside collection. Perched dramatically above Downhill beach where I worked on Game of Thrones as a hair & make up artist. the temple has become a much loved symbol of beauty , scantuary and inner peace.

Built by the Bishop of Derry in 1783 Fredrick Hervey a gift to his niece as a peaceful little library . It was intended to be used by her as a place of quiet reading and reflection. She was surrounded by the most extraordinary panoramic views of the sea, sky and coastline.
