The Early Swim Cushendun

This painting is inspired by the simple joy of our early morning swims in the beautiful waters of Cushendun Bay. As the day begins, we make our way down the path to the shoreline, leaving the worries of yesterday behind and embracing the peace that only the sea can bring.

Every morning, I’m fortunate to swim with a fabulous group of ladies whose laughter, encouragement and endless craic make each dip as uplifting as the sunrise itself. Whatever the weather, we share stories, smiles and a sense of friendship that sets us all up for the day ahead.

The boardwalk in this painting is more than just a path to the beach—it’s a reminder of those precious moments of anticipation, knowing that beyond the path awaits the cold, crystal-clear water, wonderful company, and the feeling of starting each new day with gratitude, good vibes and the sea.
